1. Who we are
WeDeyForYou ("we", "us", "our") is a Ghana-based platform connecting homes and businesses with trusted artisans. Our website is wedeyforyou.com and you can contact us at hi5@wedeyforyou.com.
2. What data we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and your interest type (client, artisan, partner, or investor). We collect this data only when you voluntarily submit the waitlist form.
3. Why we collect it (legal basis)
We process your data based on your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give consent by checking the checkbox on the waitlist form. We use your data solely to notify you about our launch, send relevant updates, and communicate about WeDeyForYou services.
4. How we store your data
Your data is stored securely by Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC), our email marketing provider. Mailchimp is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Your data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"); withdraw your consent at any time; request a portable copy of your data; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hi5@wedeyforyou.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
Our website uses only essential, strictly necessary cookies. Specifically, we store a small cookie consent preference so we don't show you the cookie banner repeatedly. We do not use analytics cookies, tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies. Google Fonts are loaded via a stylesheet link, which may result in your browser sending a request to Google's servers, subject to Google's privacy policy.
7. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services: Mailchimp for email collection and marketing (their privacy policy is available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy); Google Fonts for typography (fonts are loaded via CSS, subject to Google's privacy policy); and WhatsApp (by Meta) for direct messaging via the link on our site.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties. Your data is shared only with Mailchimp as described above for the purpose of managing our mailing list.
9. Children's privacy
Our service is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
